Slettnes Lighthouse
Northernmost Lighthouse in the World....
Yes, there are many 'northernmost' and 'most northern' here in Finnmark,
the northernmost county in Norway.
This lighthouse is the most northern on the European Continent.
Just how it could be of any help to people at sea in this kind of weather, we did not understand......

39 m tall, a beautiful look.
Here is an invention that impressed us.
See the railwaytracks on the pier - It goes right up to the door to the
left.
BUT....
There it goes on another 'truck', which takes the boats etc in a 90°
angle, and carry them to the right.
Then, ahead of each of the doors in the building, they again goes 90°
and into the house.
Looks like the weather can be quite stormy out here....
